  4. 13 rounds + 5 pullups and 3 pushups
    blue+tiny
    rounds 1-2: plank pushups (on toes). I did modified pushups on my knees for the balance of the workout.

    On 8/24, I got 12 rounds + 5 pullups using the green band and all modified pushups. I’m pleased with my progress. 🙂

    Don’t want to steal Mike’s thunder…suffice it to say that he set a blistering pace for us, and it helped me keep moving.

    PR by more than 3 full rounds! I’m pretty pumped!

      • It’s not that surprising, Terri. Lots of people beat me on Cindy, 5k’s and many other workouts. We all have things we are good at, and we all have things at which we suck.

        • I wouldn’t call 19 round “sucking” but that’s just me 😀

        • Aw, c’mon, Laura! Give me my moment! I’ll probably never beat you at anything again! ; )

          • Now, Mike…I would never take away your achievements. But know that you will ALWAYS beat me on a 5k. You will USUALLY beat me on a bodyweight workout like Cindy, Angie, Barbara, etc. Don’t minimize the athlete that you are 😉

    • Wow, Mike! Wish I could have been there to do this with you as it would have been a huge motivation for me. I am going to attempt to do this later on the swing set with my 2 nieces (2 and 4) as my cheering section. I am certain it will NOT be a PR!

  13. Cindy on the jungle gym worked out better than I thought it would! I got 21 rds + 5 pull-ups as Rx’d. It felt awesome! Mike, you inspired me from afar.

    Squats and sit ups unbroken. Push ups were no less than 5….did a few extra in case I missed any.

  15. Today I chose the gym over a nap with my little brown dog, who is an excellent sleeper. Yay!!!! (It took encouragement from CrossFit friends on Facebook. Thanks friends!)

    Did alternate workout due to stupid elbow. 20 minute AMRAP: 5 dips (red band), 10 pistols, and 15 GHD sit ups.

    Only did 6 rounds plus 5 plus 3, but all of my GHDs were unbroken, which is good progress, and I worked on pistols, which I suck at. And I didn’t take a nap instead!! Sounds silly, but it’s been a hard choice to make lately.

  18. cindy: 17+5 pullups. may have been 16 bc i lost count between 6-7 but i was running fast then. started to slow after that. funny how fatigue will mess with your memory too. either way…man, need to work on pushups. pull ups were unbroken, squats slpit in two sets toward the end.

    Last time I did this was 10 rounds. Call it a PR.
