CrossFit Games Open 12.5

Complete as many reps as possible in 7 minutes of the following rep scheme:
Thruster, 3 reps
3 Chest to bar Pull-ups
Thruster, 6 reps
6 Chest to bar Pull-ups
Thruster, 9 reps
9 Chest to bar Pull-ups
Thruster, 12 reps
12 Chest to bar Pull-ups
Thruster, 15 reps
15 Chest to bar Pull-ups
Thruster, 18 reps
18 Chest to bar Pull-ups
Thruster, 21 reps
21 Chest to bar Pull-ups…

This is a timed workout. If you complete the round of 21, go on to 24. If you complete 24, go on to 27, etc.  Men’s weight 100#/Women’s weight 65#

  1. Nice to join the 7AMers today! 57 reps at 50pound and bands for my CTB.

  2. 54 reps.
    Thrusters were RX at 65#.
    I subbed regular pullups for CTB. I did the first two rounds (3 & 6) unassisted. I think the first 3 were high enough, but chin still out from the bar. Continued with unassisted during the round of 6, but then I was no longer getting my chin to the bar so I added my tiny purple band starting with the round of 9.

    So my official score for the open is 3 since I did not get any CTB pullups.

  3. Highly unpleasant. I considered blowing this one off because I despise thrusters and pull ups extremely very highly much. So yay me!

    46 reps with 40# and bands for C2B.

  4. 54 reps for me @ 55# with red band (several, especially the last few pull ups were not CTB)

  6. This wasn’t as bad as Fran… I had fun with this one. 98 reps Rx… But I’m dissappointed with my score. I’m strong but inefficient… Which kicks my butt in the later round of workouts. Reggie helped me correct my thruster after the WOD andI feel a lot better going into my second attempt, which is gonna have to be at box in Los Angeles on Sunday.

    Reggie got his second muscle up!!!
