    • You win the toughness award today. I saw the weather and decided to do the metcon in the Emory gym this evening, where I can use the indoor 200-meter track and that nice spot right next to it for double unders.

      The weight part of the work will depend on how brave I am around those sullen young men who hang out in the weights area.

  6. Today was backwards day! Did the metcon first at Emory in …

    13:06 Rx! (I never get to say Rx. Rx!!!) My doubles were great, mostly in sets of 15. Sweet.

    Then I went to the little gym at Ruth’s place for the weights, which I did all wrong for dumb reasons I won’t bore you with.

    5 x 2 of: 45# hang power snatch | 55# hang power clean | 45# push jerk

    I’d forgotten how weird regular gyms are. No one makes eye contact. Everyone has earphones. No one talks to anyone else. Dreadful.

  7. Shoulder is still messed up so I did front squats and back squats.

    I did a mixture of singles and double unders. I did more double unders than I ever have in a WOD. So happy I attempted them and I will be a double under machine soon!!!!!!
