  1. Pictures from Tuesday 6pm:

  2. Tabata push press with men’s bar (44#): 108 reps (19/15/14/13/11/12/11/13)

    Metcon: 5 rounds in 13:50

Rds 1-2: 70# shoulder to overhead, then dropped to 64#. Chest didn’t touch the bar after the first round. I just couldn’t get up there. I struggled a lot with this wod which was a little disheartening, but in the end I got a good workout and that’s what really matters.

    • It was great working out with you again. I’ve missed you kicking my butt!

And, hey, good days and bad days. Don’t be discouraged.
      : )

    • Hey, 5 rounds of this was no joke, especially if you are just coming back AND you did the weight as prescribed (50% of 1RM) AFTER all that tabata. I’m proud of you!

  3. 71 reps using the women’s bar for tabata push press.
15:xx for the wod, at 43#. c2b was not great. More like pullups. Will use more bands next time.

  4. Tabata push press 44#, 75 reps
    12, 13, 9, 8, 8, 8,8,9

Metcon kicked my ass. Maybe because of the two workouts yesterday, (metcon AM and skills PM), or maybe the heat this AM, I also went a little heavy on the lift my 1rm is 154# and I used 88#.

I only managed 5rds and had to bow out. 😦

  5. Tabata:
    Push press @ 45 lbs
    total = 119 reps
    19, 19, 16, 13, 14, 12, 15, 11

Shoulder to overhead @ 75 lbs
    7 rounds in 10:50 (Rx)

    Shoulders are feeling great!!!
(the rest of me — sore as hell!)

  6. Tabata Push Press at 44#, 127 reps

    Metcon at 71# (~50% of 1RM)
    All shoulder to overhead unbroken.
    Burpees were slow but steady.
My blue plus my tiny purple for CTB.

    • Go Pat!

  7. tabata push press with empty bar (45#): 19/19/19/15/15/15/19/16=137

    metcon: 11:11 (88 #)

cashout: partner w/ kelly- AMRAP of abmat situps while partner does a leg blaster then switch=68 reps

leg blaster=(20 air squats, 20 walking lunges, 20 split jumps, 20 jumping squats)

  8. Tabata: 45lb 97reps
    metcon: 13.44 w/ 50lbs
Tried to take things slow and steady today – feeling a sinus infection coming on. Great workout.
8.30 rocked today! It was awesome watching all of you kick ass!

  9. Mixed feelings on this one. Very happy with Tabata – 111 @ 65lbs (thank you Kelly for talking me out of 75lbs).

Metcon crushed me. OH presses @ 115 were all unbroken. CTB’s got better and was much faster than the painful burpees. My shoulders just could not get me off the floor. 21:XX

    • oops – that was 110lbs for metcon

  10. I can barely walk. I think my body has made today a mandatory non-crossfit day.

    • Rest up Sarah and see you soon. How’s the shoulder? Ok I hope.

  11. Is anyone planning on getting together to watch some of the games?

    • Look for an update from Kelly on that.

    • I’m interested

      • where the heck have you been? 🙂

  12. Tabata with 30# (15# dumbbells):86 reps
Metcon w/empty men’s bar and blue band for CTB: 12:50

  13. Tabata with 32# – 64 reps

Metcon with 42# and two reds for C2B – 18:29

Ow ow ow ow ouch. Yay rest day Thursday!!

  14. Tabata with a measly 35# =128 reps then metcon with 55# (50% 1rm) in 14:12. Slow factor was CTB PUs. All Push Press and Burpees were unnbroken. I suck at pullups.

  15. tabata w/ women’s bar — 71

    metcon: 14:50 w/ 44# and green bands.

  16. Tabata @ 45# – 18/17/12/10/10/10/7/9 = 93

    MetCon: 18:29
71#, mostly push presses, some split jerks
Chest to Bar w/ large tan and green bands

  17. Made this up today, no tabata. Metcon: 16:52 with 55# and red band for CTBs. For the first 5 rounds, I thought I had a pretty good pace, and then it all fell apart. Hard.
