Origin: 1930s: named after Royal H. Burpee, American psychologist. The original usage was Burpee test, in which a series of burpees are executed in rapid succession, designed to measure agility and coordination. 🙂 And if ya don't know...now ya know! TY Nancy!

  1. Weighted pullup: 65#… Failed twice at 75#-(about 1/2 inch shy of my chin clearing the bar)

    Metcon: 9:50 (Rx)

    Metcon: 12:26 banded HSPU

  3. Weighted Strict pull up – 50lbs

    Metcon – 16:54 with black and blue band for HSPU.

    Finally found my HSPU, will need to use less band next time – each round was 7/3

    Metcon: Arm was hurting from recent injury. Used my tiny red, then added my teeny orange for last two rounds. Also on last two rounds had to start doing 20 DUs + 30 parallette hops. HSPUs with black & red bands. 27:28

    Nicest time today was holding Remy. 🙂
