  3. Well I was struggling in that picture. I suddenly knew exactly what it was like to be a capsized cockroach.

  4. Wow. Slate article on Planet Fitness says the gym has bowls of candy at the front desks, serves pizza on Mondays, and forbids deadlifts and clean and jerks.


    “The facility also comes equipped with a ‘lunk alarm’—a siren that is supposed to go off whenever someone grunts too loudly or drops a heavy weight on the floor. (The latter is a moot point at most Planet Fitness locations, where they don’t even have any large weights.)”

  6. weighted PUs with 48#

    20:53 w/500m rows in place of runs. Had zero motivation today for more rowing and one-legged burpees.

  7. Just got back from our WOD at CrossFit 808 this morning. Fun box, great people – but we miss CFRX!!! Elyse, the owner, knows Rudy and Laura – and she wanted for us to extend congrats to you!

  8. Went to CF Panhandle last night – new tiny place but the people were awesome.

    Deadlifts X 5, got to 180 lbs

    KBS 55 lb
    Box jump 18″
    Knees to Elbows

    11:53 rx (yes, I did the 55 lb KB – YAY!)

    Tomorrow morning, I’ll try this metcon (its too damn hot to do it now 🙂

    Been doing a lot of running and swimming in the ocean 🙂
    Tomorrow we are renting bikes!

  9. Instead of pull ups, I did single leg Romanian Deadlifts with 20# dumb bells.

    Metcon: 17:24 RX

  10. Weighted pullups with 45# vest

    Metcon: 18:40 (Rx)

  11. 24# for the 60 pull ups

    Metcon in 17:54

    Temp: 95 degrees hotter than hell @ 6pm

  12. Used an old worn out red band for pullups.


  13. 23# for the pull-ups
    Metcon: 15:09

    • I must have used your vest when I jumped on the scale.
