  1. Is it just the artist in me trying to figure out what’s up with the dog and the grasshopper on both ends of that first video???

    • It has deep significance regarding the complexity of life. The brown dog represents strength and wisdom, as do all brown dogs, especially the little ones. The grasshopper is a puzzle he must solve if he is to gain intellectual nourishment.

      • Uhhhhh, that dog is not brown. It is yellow. Elderly and YELLOW.

  2. I wont make it today because i made an appointment for 11 today before we found out about the change n times. but i will be there next sat.

on another note, i enjoyed the pregnancy link on todays blog. it was very encouraging.

  3. Completed the team WOD today as part of the aptly named Team Whiner.

Total score: 1181 (my contribution was 347)
    Pull-ups: 31,21,18,18,18 = 106
    Push-ups: 19,14,14,12,12 = 71
    Squats: 40,35,30,30,35 = 170

    • haha!! I was wondering who was on Team Whiner!

      • I should have been. Heh-heh. (You know, ’cause I’m a big whiner.)

I was on Team Average Joe with Eric, Will, and Christian. Forgot to write down our score, but we were somewhere in the middle, about average.

  4. Team Shorties!! Arlene, Joy, Paige!! Welcome Arlene!!
    Total reps = 1518

    my scores: pullups 30, 25, 20, 20, 21= 116
    pushups 32, 27, 25, 23, 24 = 131
    squats 45, 42, 41, 38, 38 = 204
    total reps = 451

    • Fantastic work, Therese!! And Paige & Arlene. (But obviously, Therese!!) It was fun. Thanks everyone for being so nice to my visiting bro-in-law George. Sorry whoever’s team he was on about the low reps! 🙂

Aaron had the idea that we should factor in team weight in the final score. I have no problem at all with that provided we also factor in team testosterone levels!

  5. Thanks for the video, Laura! That experience is exactly why avoid conversations about exercise with my doctor! They end up giving you such an arbitrary answer.

GREAT team wod today. I loved teaming up with Trish, Erin, and Rahda. It was definitely a tough wod!!

  6. I teamed with Ruth, Shannon, and Dan/Chris. Lots of fun, and I got a good workout in.
