  1. D & L:

Do you recommend starting with my max (250) and then PR from there as high as I can go? I don’t see why I would start at a weight that I already know I can do.

From this I gather that Dave Lipson’s max is 565 and he PR’d then finished the WOD with his PR.

    Your guidance? =)

  2. Couldn’t deadlift today due to a previous injury so i did strict shoulder press 3-3-3-3-3 and 36″ max rep box hops (w three minute rest in between sets)

    110-120-125-132×2-132-135×1

    Box hops-
11-14-15-13-12 or something to that extent

  3. 154-154-159-159-164-164-164-164-169-169

  4. 176-176-176-176-181-181-186-186-191-196

was conservative at the beginning. wishing i wouldn’t have been because i know i could have broken 200. oh well. it was still pretty far from my max of 230, but that was a long time ago.

then did 100 box hops. Worked on the 20″ box to work on stringing them together rather than resetting after each hop.

  5. Hey Cait,
We started around 85-90% 1 rep max. Then built up from there, if possible. Using 1rm shouldn’t work for this WOD if 250# truly is your 1rm. I hope I didn’t get back with you too late…let me know how it goes.

    • Yeah, I didn’t see this, although I wish I had!

      225-225-230-230-230-230-230-230-230-235

The 60 second thing will get ya! phew!

  6. Noon Growlery.

Used 55# for my 80% front squats, 5×3.

Rope climbing was fun! Did 1 regular rope climb plus 4 mods per round; failed on the regular climb in the second round. Oops! Just realized I did one more than needed each round.

    Rowing SUCKED. 2:11.6 | 2:18.6 | 2:24 | 2:17

    • Forgot to note for future ref: Regular rope climbs were to the knot, not the ceiling.

  7. 220, 220, 230, 242, 242, 242, 242, 242, 242, 252

Bonus round box jumps – 41″ max. Failed a 42″ attempt.

  8. First deadlifts in quite awhile.
    Rounds 1 to 5: 198
    Rounds 6 to 8: 208
    Rounds 9 to 10: 218

  9. A breakthrough for me today on deadlifts, and after nearly two years of injuries and fear and injuries and fear it felt awesome:

    198 – 198 – 203 – 203 – 208 – 208 – 213 – 213 – 218 – 218

Then did 100 box jumps with Miguel and Erica.

  10. For some reason I have been slacking on noting and posting my results lately. For the deadlifts, I ended up at 157#, after adding weight every two lifts. I can’t remember where I started, though. I just know it was heavy and got heavier. Then I jumped on the 24″ box for the first time. 🙂
