“Tabata This!”

Tabata Row
Rest 1 minute
Tabata Squat
Rest 1 minute
Tabata Pull-up
Rest 1 minute
Tabata Push-up
Rest 1 minute
Tabata Sit-up

The Tabata interval is 20 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest for 8 intervals.
Tabata score is the least number of reps performed in any of the eight intervals. Unit for the row is “calories”.

Russ Malz 8, 21, 10, 15, 20 = 74, Kristan Clever 4, 25, 10, 15, 18 = 72, Kim Malz 5, 22, 10, 11, 23 = 71, Austin Malleolo 8, 21, 10, 14, 11 = 64.
Post Tabata score for each exercise to comments and total for final score.

  2. HQ- 5-18-10-10-10 = 53 points total

    The name of the adidas shoe that is the equivalent of the Nike free is the adidas fluid motion trainer. I like it because it’s narrower than the free. I ordered from adidas.com an it took one week. Also, adidas is about a half size smaller than Nike.

  3. God I love CrossFit. Came in today feeling horrible. Left feeling GREAT. It never fails. 😀

    Growlery: Three 400m runs, 30 ring dips, 49 burpees, 67 double unders in 25 minutes.

  4. Tabata This!

    4-15-4-4-12 = 39

    Maintained same number of reps for Row, Squat and Situp. Lost one rep on the Pullup. Did the worst on Pushups (10-9-9-8-7-5-4-4).

  5. Growlery:

    Some sprints, dips, burpees, and double-unders. Good workout.

  7. Opted for the 2 mile run. Need to see where I am sitting at for my PT test.

    Ran a 14:55.

    My last 2 mile was 6 weeks ago- 16:01

    PR is 12:10 (sheesh, i’ve got a ways to go)

    Squat: 17 (up 2 from last time)
    Pull-ups: 7 (up 1 from last time)
    Push-ups: 5 (down 1 from last time)
    Sit-ups: 12 (up 1 from last time)

    Total: 49 (up 3 from last time)

    Pretty consistent on everything except push-ups which dropped from 12 in round 1 to 5 in rounds 7 and 8.

  11. So glad Ruth came in at 5 because I didn’t want to do this by myself!
    3 rounds of Run 400m, max ring dips in 1 min., max burpees in 2 min.
    Ring dips (w/old red) in 1 min.: 22/15/13 = 50
    Burpees in 2 min.: 31/27/27 = 85
    Then 5 min. of max double unders (which were all really single, single, double) = 19 DUs
    Total = 154

    • Great work Joy!! That’s not easy stuff. Looks like you did a lot of reps!!

  12. I hope everyone felt like crap after the Tabata, because I sure did!!

    6-12-4-6-10 = 38

    I shouldn’t have settled for 10 on the situps. Pullups went downhill quick (16-10-7-6-4-4-5-4)

    Great job everyone who put up big numbers!!
