    Power Snatch, 5×1 with 90 secs btwn sets


    10 Minute AMRAP:
    3 Power Snatch, 65# (rx was 95#)
    6 OHS, 65# (rx was 95#)
    9 CTB, (blue+tiny)

    4 rounds + 3 + 6 + 1

  4. I. Love. Our. Gym. Lovelovelovelovelove. It.

    Growlery: Back still hurts so I kept weights low and did snatches from a hang. 32, 37, 42, 47, 52

    Used junior bar for both snatches and OHS in the AMRAP, green band for C2B pull ups. 5 rounds.

    Love it.

  5. Back from a week climbing in Joshua Tree–felt great to be @ RX for Power Hour today! (HQ RX 18:24)

    Got to watch the Growlers growling while Buddy rocked out the 5 rounds of HQ and even found his 5 RM front squat weight! Nice work Buddy!

    Also, just good to be home 🙂

  6. Glad to hear of people doing the work & havin’ fun. Dr. Sadri put the jack hammer to my arm late this afternoon and said no upper body work for 48 hrs. 😦
    So I’m skipping this evening and will make up on Thurs. Maybe I’ll take a long run.. .
    Oh, and I’m really inspired by all the Nutrition Challenge folks. Hoping I can ramp up the real food and cut out some poor choices going forward.

    1 rep 55-60-65-65f-55 (keep butt down!)

    10 min AMRAP
    3 power snatch – 50 lbs
    6 OHS – 50 lbs
    9 Chest to Bar pullups

    5 rounds + 3 PS + 3 OHS

    The GHDs were giving me headache problems from round 3 on, which slowed me down. But, I’m happy to announce the 24″ box and I are on speaking terms again.

  11. Made this up at 7:30 with Jax…who rocked it with OHS instead of front squats, for reasons mysterious to me. Front squats 65#, 20″ box. Time: 28:00.

    This was a hard re-entry to the gym after a few days out…glad to be back though.
