  1. Max rep CTB pullups (blue+tiny)
    7 sets with 2 min rest between sets


    worked on pulling my chest to the bar each time.

  2. Also did max rep pull ups, working on getting chest to bar. Started with red, added tiny, went to blue, last round with green.

    Learned that I need to work on my kip, which isn’t very kippy. 🙂

  3. hmmm, i’m gonna have to get outta bed early on Sunday more often–so cool to see all of the smiling faces this morning (despite the daylight savings sleep deficit) 🙂

    shared a bar with Jane for weighted pull-ups
    then met “Diane” at home =6:39 (all deads unbroken & was able to string together 12+ kipping HSPUs 1st round…HSPU endurance something to work on)

  4. First time trying weighted pull-ups singles.

    Hurt my toe when a weight fell out of the vest and landed on it. Keep an eye out for the pocket with a hole in it.

    • Ouch! Painful just to read about.

  5. I’ll have to try extra pull ups tomorrow since I didn’t do this wod today. But I did run 10 miles in prep for next Sunday’s half-marathon. Not a great pace but it was surprisingly comfortable which I attribute to using a metronome. About 2 hrs 6 min.

  6. Been short on motivation for the last week, so I’ve been doing the best that I can to stay active.
    Today was a “Power Day” and this is what I chose.

    5 Rounds For Time:
    10 KB High Pulls Right Arm (70#)
    10 KB High Pulls Left Arm (70#)
    05 Tall Box Hops (40″)


    Knew I should have been moving faster, but I chose to take my time and “work on perfect reps” 😉
    If you smell B.S. you are right! I just didn’t have anything fast in me today.

    Closed with some Supine Ring Rows and Weighted Knee Hops…gotta maintain my explosiveness until I’m able to Clean and Snatch again. Damn wrist!

  7. Did the “Cindy” today (incorrectly for the first 4 rounds, when Damon noticed I had substituted situps for pushups!). Within 20 minutes, managed to do 9 reps of:
    5 pull ups (with green adn red band)
    10 situps/push ups
    15 squats

    • I wish Cindy called for sit ups instead of push ups! Wish wish wish wish really really wish …

  10. Weighted pull-ups: made up on 3/18

    66+134= 200

    this is exactly the same total as last time. a few more pounds of body weight (argh), and few less pounds in the vest.
