15 GHD Sit-ups

Now is a good time to start thinking about investing in a heritage turkey (or goose, duck, etc.) for your holiday meals next year. Because of the amount of work that goes into producing a humanely raised heritage breed, you often need to put a deposit down before the bird is even born. It’s a great way of supporting local farmers, humane production and original, unmodified breeds. Kristy B. ordered a heritage turkey from Nature’s Harmony Farms in Elberton, GA.   2. This workout has DeMarco written all over it! 13 rounds + 7 situps. I did them in the wrong order, SU, BE, DU.

    • Dang, Nick! I can’t slack, even on a holiday? πŸ˜‰

      When I saw this last night, I was thinking 12 rounds if I’m lucky…today, my legs are toast from yesterday’s lunges…we’ll see!

        • Oh yeah… your thighs are going to feel awesome on the back extensions when they’re pressed up against the pad.

  4. Fun workout with a fun group!! Did 25 singles + 2 double unders each round, since I only got my first double under this week.

    8 rounds + 27 jumps + 6 sit ups. πŸ™‚

    Moved at a good clip until the 10 minute mark, then my quads gave out. I would like to try this one fresh sometime; I feel like yesterday’s lunges really hurt my situps on this one.

    7 Power Cleans @ 80% 1 RM (155#)
    20 Wall ball shots


    The weight was closer to 70% of 1 RM but I’m easing into ballistic movements. Effort was just alright after being off for too many days.

    Lift and consume turkey + veggies

    Post Rounds, Weight (yours or the turkey’s), and Time to Comments

    ….3 rounds, approx. 2 lbs of turkey consumed, over roughly 2 hours…


    plus watched the international space station orbit overhead, followed by the space shuttle, which was pretty darn cool! (and I needed the break from feeding)

  13. 6 rounds + 6 DUs (2 DUs + 25 singles)

  14. 11 rds, 15 DUs, 6 GHDs

    never hit a consistent rhythm with the DUs…GHDs got slower and slower!

  15. 10 rds + 3 double-unders
